A Pristine Paradise in Sichuan!

Jiuzhaigou, located in Sichuan Province, China, is a breathtaking valley renowned for its crystal-clear turquoise lakes, cascading waterfalls, and vibrant forests. This UNESCO World Heritage site, often called "Fairyland on Earth," showcases surreal natural beauty and Tibetan cultural heritage. The valley, named "Jiuzhaigou" or "Valley of Nine Villages," is dotted with nine Tibetan villages that offer a glimpse into the region's rich traditions.

How to Get There:

  • From Chengdu: A 1-hour flight from Chengdu to Jiuzhai Huanglong Airport is the quickest route, followed by a 1.5-hour drive to Jiuzhaigou Valley. Alternatively, you can take a scenic 8-10 hour bus ride from Chengdu directly to the valley.

  • From Beijing: Direct flights to Jiuzhai Huanglong Airport take about 3 hours. You can also fly to Chengdu and transfer by plane or bus.

  • From Shanghai: A direct flight to Jiuzhai Huanglong Airport takes approximately 3.5 hours. Another option is to fly to Chengdu and continue your journey by plane or bus.

Upon Arrival:

  • Entrance Fee: The entrance fee for Jiuzhaigou Valley is around ¥220 (about $30 USD) for a 3-day pass. Prices may vary, so it's a good idea to check for current rates and any seasonal changes.

  • Transportation Inside the Valley: Once inside Jiuzhaigou, the best way to explore is by using the park’s shuttle buses, which are included in your entrance fee. These buses run along the main routes within the park, making it easy to visit the key sites and scenic spots. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes, as there are still plenty of beautiful spots to explore on foot.
