China's porcelain history spans thousands of years, with Jingdezhen in Jiangxi Province, known as the "Porcelain Capital," at its heart. With over 1,700 years of production, Jingdezhen became famous during the Song Dynasty and remains a major center today. Visitors can tour workshops, watch artisans at work, buy authentic porcelain, and even try pottery themselves.
